As a library leader, perhaps you’ve heard some version of, “No one is a prophet in their own land.” This means that despite your best efforts to get changes in work performance or workplace behavior with some of your employees, it has not worked or the changes are not holding consistently.
Dr. Steve Albrecht can provide one-on-one or small-group coaching services to library employees at all levels in the organization. As a board-certified coach and an experienced and longtime HR professional, Steve can help you get back the work culture you and your colleagues and staff need to succeed in these new and interesting times.
Using hourly rates and Zoom or phone sessions, Steve can meet with directors, managers, supervisors, PICs, and employees and help them with:
Work performance improvements.
Corrective coaching for employee issues at the pre or post-discipline stages.
Behavior changes involving patron service problems, co-worker interactions, or staff meeting disruptions.
Creating viable and legal Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and Behavioral Improvement Plans (BIPs).
Conflict resolution; helping angry or frustrated employees get along with each other.
Creating accurate, legal, and defensible Performance Evaluations.
Supporting successful Performance Evaluation meetings.
Mentoring approaches for employees looking to promote to the next level.
Supporting Associate-level employees moving to Director-level positions.
Roleplay work to help employees with promotional/panel interviews, community group presentations, or public appearances.
Fees: $250/hour for all meetings and progress or recap reports.
